Dr Clear Aligners UK: 1,000 appointments in 4 months
Dr Clear Aligners (DCA) was new to Europe and chose the United Kingdom as its first market. It asked us for awareness, leads and booked appointments. Four months later, more than 1,000 clinic appointments had been booked.
This case study sets out the brief, what we did and what came of it.

The starting point
DCA was a relatively new player in the European market. It wanted to enter the orthodontics industry in Europe, starting with the UK.
The aim had three parts: make people aware of the brand, turn that awareness into leads, and turn leads into clinic appointments. We began with a brand positioning and a strategy built around those three.
What we did
- Planned for leads, not only for reach. The first step was a detailed plan for keeping DCA UK present online in a way that produces enquiries.
- Wrote for a UK audience. We developed a content strategy that would make sense to people in the UK and still carry the brand’s identity and mission.
- Gave the brand a human voice. We used storytelling, influencer marketing and sponsored ads.
- Launched the website for this market. The launch plan included rewriting the site’s content for UK needs.
- Added email. We developed an email marketing strategy for a more inbound approach.
The results
- More than 1,000 appointments booked in 4 months.
- More than 5,000 unique website visitors.
- More than 4,000,000 brand impressions and reach on social media.
- Organic search traffic that kept rising.
- Expansion into other European countries. Our campaigns went on to generate leads for the branches in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France every month.
These figures come from our project records.
What a sales team can take from it
- An appointment is a stage, not the finish. Enquiry, booked, attended and treated are four different things. Count each one. Our guide to sales pipeline stages shows how to define them.
- Reply while the person is still interested. A lead from an advert may have asked more than one provider. The research on this is in lead response time statistics.
- Ads need a follow-up plan. Paying for an enquiry and then answering it the next day wastes the spend. See how to follow up click-to-WhatsApp ads.
