Privacy notice
[Template: have this reviewed before publishing.] Last updated: [date].
This notice explains how [Company legal name] (“Socianet”, “we”), registered in [England and Wales] under company number [number] at [registered address], uses personal information collected through socianet.co.uk, our forms, WhatsApp and events.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company and job title.
- Your answers to our forms and the Leak Score quiz.
- Files you choose to send us, such as a spreadsheet of your leads, which may contain your own contacts’ business details.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, email or chat, and records of calls and meetings.
- Basic technical and marketing data such as the page you came from, campaign tags and cookies set by our website tools.
How we use it
- To reply to you and provide what you asked for, such as the free pipeline conversion, your Leak Score report or an audit call.
- To send you marketing by email or WhatsApp, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link.
- To run and improve our services, and to keep records we are required to keep.
Our legal bases
We rely on your consent for marketing messages, on steps you asked us to take before a contract for demos and conversions, on our contract when you become a client, and on our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, balanced against your rights.
Files you send us
A spreadsheet you send for the free conversion is used only to build your pipeline. If you don’t go ahead, we delete it within [30] days. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run our business, including the platform that hosts our CRM and website, messaging providers (such as Meta for WhatsApp), email delivery, calendar and payment providers. They process data on our instructions. Some are based outside the UK; where that happens we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to [24] months after our last contact, and client records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
